Hundred Oaks Series by Miranda Kenneally
The books in this series tell the romantic stories of 2 characters within a group of people. Each book tells the story of how a couple comes to be. My favorite book within the entire series would be Things I Can't Forget. This book takes place at a church camp with the main characters as counselors. Kate, alone without her best friend, arrives to camp and reconnects with people from the past. One person in particular that she reconnects with is a guy named Matt. When she starts a romantic relationship with Matt, Kate needs to figure out how to balance what she wants along with her faith. I really enjoyed this book because it shows the hardships of relationships and not only the idealized versions of it that other romance books usually have. I would recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys reading books about teen romances and coming of age stories.
I probably wouldn't read this series, but it's Interesting how Kate's intrarole conflict of her personal life and her faith. Especially since we are discussing roles this week. Wonder if the guy she's dating, Matt, is of the same faith. Another role conflict that would be major, especially if they get married and have children.
